Hardwired Shades

Permanent Power, Built to Last

Beasen hardwired motorized shades are the ultimate long-term investment for homeowners who want flawless, maintenance-free performance. These shades draw continuous power directly from your home’s electrical system — no batteries to charge, no replacements ever needed.

Powerful Motor Choices
Beasen offers two hardwired motor options to suit any project:

  • 12V DC Low-Voltage System: Safer, more flexible, and easier to install during new construction or renovation. Uses standard low-voltage wiring (including CAT5/CAT6) and a central DC power distribution panel.
  • 110V-240V AC Direct Wiring: Maximum power and torque for the largest or heaviest shades. Connects straight to your household electrical supply for reliable, high-performance operation.

Tailored to Your Vision

Hardwired shades are designed and installed to perfectly match the specific needs of your home or building, giving you complete customization and a seamless, integrated look.

Engineered for Endurance

Running on constant power, these shades experience far less wear than battery or manual options. They provide smooth, consistent performance for years, making them one of the most reliable motorized choices available.

Ideal for Large and Heavy Shades

Battery-powered shades can struggle with oversized or heavy window treatments. Hardwired shades draw unlimited power directly from your home’s electrical system, ensuring strong, effortless movement no matter the size.

Reliable Power, Always

If you want shades that operate continuously without ever worrying about battery life, hardwired motorized shades are the perfect solution. They deliver steady, dependable power — ideal for busy homes and commercial spaces.

12V DC Low-Voltage System

The positive and negative wires connect from the motor to an AC transformer or DC power distribution panel. Safe, flexible, and perfect for new construction or renovations. Compatible with 16/2, 18/2, or CAT5/CAT6 wiring.

110V-240V AC System

The live and neutral wires connect directly to your household AC supply inside a properly installed junction box. This provides continuous power with virtually zero maintenance. Installation must be done by a licensed electrician.

Hardwired Shades FAQ

Are hardwired shades a good solution for large windows?

Yes — they’re the ideal power choice for oversized windows, doors, or any application that demands strong, consistent performance.

What is the largest wire gauge that fits the motor connector?

16AWG is the largest gauge our connectors accept, and 24AWG is the smallest.

What types of wires are compatible?

Beasen hardwired motors work with 16/2, 16/4, and 18/2 wires. For detailed recommendations tailored to your installation, contact our customer service team.

What happens if I accidentally reverse the positive and negative wires?

The motor simply won’t power on. There is no risk of damage to the system.

When should I choose the AC motor option?

AC motors are perfect for larger commercial projects or oversized exterior shades that require maximum torque and power.

How do I connect a hardwired AC motor?

Connect the live and neutral wires to your household AC supply inside a properly installed junction box. This must be done by a licensed electrician.

How do I connect a hardwired DC motor?

Simply connect the positive and negative wires to your power supply or DC distribution panel.

Can I use Cat5 wire with your motors?

Yes. Cat5 cable is fully compatible with our 12V motors. Group the four pairs (4 and 4) to create the equivalent of a 24AWG wire.
